JetStream is fast copy software for OpenVMS Alpha AXP and Integrity (Itanium IA64) platforms, combining state of the art file compression, client/server architecture, and network communications.

JetStream is used to replicate files between VMS computers which communicate using DECnet or TCP/IP. The VMS computers can be Alpha or Integrity computers and do not have to be clustered.

Network Replicate

JetStream allows the following types of VMS network file replication scenarios:

• Copy files from a Production Site to a Disaster Recovery Site over a LAN, MAN, or WAN network
• Replicate files from a Production Site to a Disaster Recovery Site and Backup Site at the same time
• Replicate files to two backup sites at the same time
• Distribute files from a central site to several remote sites at the same time
• Simply copy some files to one or more destinations in a single fast operation

Local Replicate

JetStream performs incredibly fast file copies on local or clustered disks. Copy files to multiple target disks at the same time.

Disaster Recovery

JetStream is ideal for replicating files to multiple locations for disaster recovery solutions. Used in conjunction with BacPac, you can have a complete disaster recovery solution!
